It isn't uncommon for a family to wait until the dust settles before looking around for a memorial.  The son of this couple, with deep ties to Vermont, lives in England and was well acquainted with hand-cut lettering.  This is black slate, about as simple as you can get.  We like the upper-and-lower case numerals because they seem warmer, livelier.  BACK   NEXT
